FARM CHICKS: PART 2

Here are some pictures of other booths that I just LOVED!  As you can probably tell from the pictures, put a plant in anything and I am sold! Garden Party had an amazing set-up, very botanical and dreamy.  The one thing that I loved and am mad I didn't get a picture of is Funky Junk's pick-up bed shelf, but I did snag me a t-shirt with a vintage camper on it.

Black, White, Yellow...Looking good ROOST...Love their store!
This is a table my husband wanted me to buy but we missed out, sad.
LOVE the bike sign

The Farm Chicks 2012

BU2ful and Farmhouse Charm had an AMAZING time at The Farm Chicks Show in Spokane, WA this past weekend!

I have never seen so many people in my life, the crowd was record breaking on Saturday with over 6,000 shoppers walking through the doors!

Our booth # ended up being 79 93 (sorry about that), a BIG thank you to all of our friends and family who stopped by to say hi.  We were also blessed to have amazing neighbors ( http://www.forgetmenotdreams.blogspot.com/ )beside and across from us. Here are a few snaps of our booth, we had to remodel on the second day and I ended up liking the bike display the best.

Farm Chicks #79

We spent all night last night packing the trailer and we are ready to head to Spokane.  We are so excited to be a part of the Farm Chicks show for the first time, oh, and by excited I mean a little lot nervous. This is a shot of the trailer late last night but we still have more to fit in, like the big 'ol lockers.  And would you look at these super-cute sold signs I made (all Elaine's idea).
And just as a little something fun, anyone that mentions our blog or this post will get a free gift at our booth, #79! Cannot wait to see everyone there!!!

BU2ful Farmhouse Market...SUCCESS

Thank you everyone who attended the BU2ful Farmhouse Spring Market!  We had a great time and met a ton of super cute, fun people with minds like ours. We were nervous to host our first market but after the first rush our nerves were settled and then I looked at the clock and realized it wasn't even 9:00 (opening time)! As the day went on, Elaine and I were overwhelmed with people asking us if we were going to have the market again, well...yes we are, with more advertising and more treasures. Here are a few pics that I had to take with my phone, forgot the camera...sorry.

Re-used Muse

I have this very talented friend, Wendy, and she does some pretty amazing work.  She has the ability to transform pictures, paper, stamps and well, pretty much anything into amazing greeting cards and collages.  For my wedding I asked for a special order of cards made with peacock feather, greens, browns and a little turquoise and, boy, did she deliver. All of my wedding party received one-of-a-kind cards that they loved.  Her goods will be available on Saturday at the BU2ful Farmhouse Market just in time to grab a Mother's and Father's Day card.

Daddy's Girl

Growing up, I never really considered myself to be a "daddy's girl," but, I was always a serious tomboy. I had older brothers who went to work with him everyday from sunrise to sunset and I always thought to myself "they are going to be exactly like him." Well guess what, I am proud to say that I am exactly like him, we are junkers at heart.  It drives my brothers nuts the stuff he has stock piled everywhere and can't get rid of.  The other night he called me to say he was cleaning up a bit and saved a few things for me I might like.  To others this might be junk, garbage, crap, or what have you, but to me and my dad, these are treasures!

Here's a peek at a few of the items he gave me and an "after" of one of the watering cans in my yard.  Thanks Dad,  I Love You!!!

Heads Up!

This side table is a fun little yard sale purchase with a makeover.  The top had a perfect lip on it that would hold something well, so I decided to go with pennies. Three coats of different colored paint, (teal, chocolate and tan) some light sanding, a little new hardware and boom, there you have it.  Now all I need to do is find a mate to make tails.

Special Orders

Love doing special orders for all my buddies.  Here is a barn wood sign for my soon-to-be teacher friend and a large framed black board for my Aunt Lori.  She had this amazing wood frame and asked if I could turn it into a black board.  The framed cutout is so she can show off an adorable picture of her little dog, Jessie.

Yard Sale Season Is Here

Yay, my favorite time of year is starting, YARD SALE TIME! I went this past weekend and picked up a few things for The Farm Chicks show this summer.  Looking at my treasures, you would think my favorite color is red, but really, I have no problem buying red things because I have no problem sending them to a better home.  Green on the other hand...you all know I how much I love green!!

A Cake For My BFF

My "BFF", Brock, turned five last Friday and everyone was out of town so he felt a little left out because he didn't get a big birthday party.  I promised him I would make him a birthday cake a long time ago and I am so happy I finally got to make it.  I needed some sort of machinery for my little farmer nephew's cake and his father had told me about these new toys Caterpillar came out with.  They are called "The Work Series" and look dirty.  I thought they were pretty sweet so I snagged a few for his cake...hope he likes it! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BROCK
